Redwood Technologies Group Supports Berkshire Lowland Search and Rescue

Bracknell-based technology firm, Redwood Technologies Group, is supporting local search and rescue charity, Berkshire Lowland Search and Rescue (BLSAR), by funding the purchase of lifesaving equipment.

BLSAR, the primary search and rescue resource for Thames Valley Police in Berkshire, comprises a team of highly-trained volunteers who use specialist skills to search for high risk vulnerable missing persons. To assist BLSAR’s vital work in the region Redwood Technologies Group has donated funds for a number of specialist, lightweight defibrillators.

Sean Taylor, CEO at Redwood Technologies Group, commented: “Although we are a global company we ensure that each of our offices around the world support the local communities where they are located. In the UK we are proud to have been established in Berkshire for nearly 30 years and delighted to have assisted tens of local voluntary groups and charities over that time. BLSAR carries out mission-critical work for the Thames Valley Police and as a charity depends heavily on contributions like ours. We are very proud to be able to support the valuable activities that BLSAR undertake.”

Paul Chapman, Trustee at Berkshire Lowland Search and Rescue, added: “On behalf of BLSAR, we would like to thank Redwood Technologies Group for its generous donation to the charity. We rely on donations such as those from businesses in the Berkshire area to continue our work for the Thames Valley Police, and would like to encourage others to consider donating to or volunteering alongside us.”
