Content Guru Celebrates Local Heroes at the Pride of Bracknell Forest Awards 2023

Content Guru was proud to announce the winners of the ‘John Nike Adult Award’ at the recent Pride of Bracknell Forest Awards 2023. Police Community Support Officer Mary Parker, who has served the community for over 15 years, was presented the ‘Gold Award’ by Content Guru’s Co-Founder and Deputy CEO Martin Taylor at the ceremony hosted at Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

Content Guru was a platinum sponsor of this year’s event and sponsored the John Nike Adult Award, which recognises the achievements of those aged over 18 from the Bracknell Forest area. The ‘Silver Award’ was awarded to Brian Pettifer, a dedicated servant to the local community. His recent charitable work included running a Christmas post room for children to receive personal replies, and present deliveries, from Santa Claus.

The Pride of Bracknell Forest Awards started in 2005 to celebrate the achievements of outstanding individuals and organisations in the local community. Content Guru has been a long-time supporter of the awards that bring together education, business, sport and leisure, local government and the voluntary sector, showcasing the very best of the community.

Sean Taylor, CEO at Content Guru, commented: “We are delighted to have sponsored this year’s awards, and to be able to celebrate our fantastic community. We’re proud of our Berkshire origins, and want to make sure that the local community benefits from our success. The awards are a fantastic opportunity to thank the truly remarkable people contributing so much to the area; congratulations to the much-deserved winners.
