This allows the identity of the customer to be verified without the need for agent involvement, by cross-referencing against existing security data. If self-service fails to verify the customer’s identity, they are automatically routed to an agent. Once verified, customers can be assigned a security clearance tag that follows them across interactions, meaning they never have to be verified more than once.
