Shaping the Future of
Crisis Care in Mental Health

Location: Royal College of Psychiatrists, London
Date: 7th July 2026
Time: 9:00-15:00

What to Expect!

With 2.12 million people in contact with NHS mental health services at the end of March 2026, the pressure on those delivering crisis care has never been greater. Workforce sustainability, service continuity, and the safe integration of digital tools are challenges that NHS leaders are navigating every day, often without the space to step back and reflect.

This event brings together senior NHS leaders for a day of confidential discussion and debate focussed on what is needed to deliver safe, resilient and human-centred crisis care at scale. Hosted in partnership with Health Innovation Kent Surrey and Sussex (KSS) and Wavenet, the day has been designed to inform and connect.

On the day you can expect:

  • Honest, peer-led conversation in a confidential setting
  • System-level insight on workforce pressures, service continuity and quality assurance
  • Real-world learning from NHS trusts already navigating change
  • Perspectives on what modern communications technology can realistically offer urgent mental health services, framed around capability and workforce support

With speakers from The King’s Fund, Devon Partnership NHS Trust, Sussex Police, and Content Guru, be part of the conversation that shapes what comes next for urgent mental health services. Register here to secure your place.

We look forward to seeing you there.
