Leading cloud communications solutions provider, Content Guru, has been awarded the Cyber Essentials Plus certification, following an external assessment of its commitment to cyber security.
Cyber Essentials Plus is a recognized, Government-backed scheme that protects organizations against a whole range of the most common cyber attacks. This certification assures that Content Guru’s defenses will protect against the vast majority of common cyber attacks; simply because many of these attacks are looking for targets which do not have basic Cyber Hygiene technical controls in place. An external hands-on technical verification was carried out of the controls in place.
Content Guru is a global expert in cloud contact center technology, and works with large organizations both in the public and private sector, including NHS 111 London, Rakuten and Chubb. As such, it holds a range of accreditations which demonstrate its dedication to data security, compliance and quality, including PCI DSS Version 3.2.1, ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and many more.
Gary Cheetham, Chief Information Security Officer and Data Protection Officer at Content Guru, commented: “We are delighted to be awarded this accreditation to add to our repertoire. Cyber Essentials has become one of the standard certifications required by many organizations in the UK (particularly Government and Government Agencies and National Health organizations) to provide assurance that a recognized standard of security controls has been implemented. Content Guru went through a rigorous external assessment, and the certification demonstrates to our customers and supply chain that we take security seriously and provide a safe and secure environment.”
