Broadcast
Content Guru was established in 2006 by the directors of Redwood Technologies, a world leader in the design and manufacture of intelligent media gateways.
Initially, the company focused on the provision of high capacity mass interactive communications solutions for the broadcast industry. Content Guru’s ability to develop smart automated call management systems helped customers to comply with the strong new regulatory regime, while protecting essential new revenue streams in the face of a decline in traditional advertising expenditure. We continue to provide interactive services for the BBC, ITV, Five, BSkyB, S4C and other broadcasters and content delivery channels.
Enterprise and Public Sector
Since 2008, we have taken our expertise into the world of commerce and the public sector, providing cloud-based contact centre technologies, IP Centrex solutions, workflow engines and a growing portfolio of other bespoke services to organisations in sectors such as utilities, financial services, education, healthcare, retail and travel.
Cloud
A key milestone in the growth of Content Guru was the creation of the storm® platform in strategic partnership with Cable&Wireless Worldwide.
storm is Europe’s largest mass interactive communications platform, capable of offering up to 30,000 simultaneous connections. It is the first example of the kind of secure, integrated, stable mass communications platform that will drive future growth for Content Guru, allowing customers to take full advantage of the cost-savings, agility and mobility made possible by cloud-based infrastructures.
Today, customers using storm services include Homeserve, RSA MORE TH>N, Abercrombie & Fitch, Trinity Mirror, Times Newspapers, United Utilities, Jurys Inn, The Red Cross, the Mental Health Foundation, UNICEF and Virgin Money.
