Responding in a Crisis – Supporting Customers (Utilities, Telecoms and Technology) is a new category this year, which is designed to celebrate organizations that responded above and beyond to support customers during the Coronavirus crisis.
Content Guru has been recognized by the judges for its work throughout the pandemic to help large organizations across the public and private sector deal with unprecedented challenges due to the Coronavirus. Content Guru’s browser-based storm® Contact Centre as a Service (CCaaS) solution enabled customers including hotel chain, Jurys Inn, and rail industry membership body, Rail Delivery Network, to move their contact center agents to a remote working model in just days.
Alongside this, storm’s virtually limitless scalability in the cloud enabled companies overwhelmed by unpredictable spikes in inbound enquiries cope seamlessly. storm allowed NHS 111 London to deal handle an increase in call traffic of up to 1400% from patients concerned that they had symptoms of the virus; as well as enabling a leading airline to deal with a 242% increase in the number of inbound calls received.
The winners will be announced at the end of September 2020, and the celebration will take place on Tuesday 16 March 2021 at the usual awards venue, Evolution in Battersea Park, London.
