Now in their 12th year, the European IT & Software Excellence Awards reward excellence in European software development, IT and Telecoms solutions provision. Widely recognized as Europe’s most prestigious IT Channel Awards, this year’s European IT & Software Excellence Awards celebrate both 2020 and 2021 winners, due to the pandemic.
Content Guru has been shortlisted for Innovative Crisis Management for its work to support organizations in the healthcare sector coping with unprecedented demand and unforeseen challenges caused by the pandemic. Content Guru’s cloud-first platform, storm® allowed NHS 111 London to scale instantly when COVID-19 hit Britain’s capital, handling an increase in call volumes of up to 500%. Content Guru also developed the innovative storm LINKTM On-Demand Video Consultation service for HUC, the provider of NHS 111 telephone and General Practitioner (GP) out-of-hours services for over 3.3 million people in the East of England, to minimize the need for face-to-face appointments.
Alongside this recognition, Content Guru has also been shortlisted for both Public Sector Utilities Solution of the Year and Vertical Application Solution of the Year, for its work with the UK’s biggest electricity distributor, UK Power Networks.
storm enabled UK Power Networks’ contact center to scale and handle over 68,000 calls and 113,071 SMS messages during the disruption to power caused by Storm Ciara. Alongside this feat, storm has helped UK Power Networks achieve industry-leading customer satisfaction scores of 9 out of 10 and earn an impressive £19 million in revenue incentives from the UK government regulator for gas and electricity markets, Ofgem.
The winners of each category will be announced during a gala Awards Dinner at the Royal Lancaster, London on 19th October 2021.
