Leading cloud technology provider, Content Guru, is delighted to announce its achievement of the Silver Award in Britain’s Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme.
The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise from the United Kingdom that those who serve or have served in the British Armed Forces, and their families, will be treated fairly. The Covenant is enshrined in UK law, and the British Government is committed to delivering the best possible outcomes for its Armed Forces community by working with a range of delivery partners who are signatories of the Covenant.
The Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) was launched in 2014 to acknowledge employers who provide exceptional support for the Armed Forces community, by going above and beyond their covenant pledges.
Content Guru continues to improve opportunities for services leavers, reservists and their families, as well as Cadet Force volunteers, recognizing that a supportive employment environment is critical to enabling the work of each of UK’s Armed Forces. Achieving the Silver Award – the second highest in the scheme – is a demonstration of this commitment. Practical measures include providing paid time off for training to actively supporting the Forces Career Transition Partnership (CTP), as well as sponsoring the Health and Rehabilitation Award for the Soldiering On Awards across four consecutive years.
