For the third successive year, Redwood Technologies Group will proudly be sponsoring the Health & Rehabilitation Award category at the forthcoming 2019 Soldiering On Awards.
The Awards, taking place on 5th April 2019, recognise the remarkable achievements of Britain’s Armed Forces veterans and those individuals and groups supporting them.
The Healthcare & Rehabilitation Award is given to the person or team who have made the greatest contribution to the physical or mental wellbeing of serving or former members of the Armed Forces. This includes commitment through healthcare, therapeutic treatment or rehabilitation services and support. Other categories being judged at this year’s Soldiering On Awards recognise sporting accomplishments, successes in increasing diversity and inclusion throughout the Armed Forces community, excellence in providing education and training, and lifetime achievement.
The winners of each category are judged by an independent panel headed by former Chief of the General Staff and long-serving soldier General the Lord Dannatt GCB, CBE, MC, DL, and Debra Allcock Tyler, CEO of the Directory of Social Change. The panel also includes the Soldiering On Awards Chairman Wing Commander Tal Lambert MBE BEng (Hons) MA CEng MIET RAF, and Redwood Technologies Group Deputy CEO Martin Taylor.
The People’s Choice Award and Animal Partnership Award will be decided by a public vote. Voting through the Soldiering On Awards website runs from 13th February to 4th March. The Awards Night, where the winners will be announced, will be a black tie ceremony at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel.
Martin Taylor said:
“Redwood Technologies Group is committed in its support of Britain’s Armed Forces. This is why we are part of the Employer Recognition Scheme for the Armed Forces Covenant, and why we are delighted to be sponsoring the Healthcare & Rehabilitation Award for the third consecutive year. The stories of hard work and dedication by nominees is truly inspiring and humbling. The Awards Night will be a fantastic celebration of the continuing professionalism and devotion of serving and former members of the Armed Forces.”
Ren Kapur, Chief Executive of the Soldiering On Awards and CEO of X-Forces Enterprise, added:
“There is an ethos and set of values by which the military community live and work: leave no-one behind and work together as a team. Those values are exemplified in the amazing achievements of this year’s Soldiering On Awards Finalists who are all outstanding ambassadors for the Armed Forces Community and winners in their own right.
“The 2019 Awards have seen a record number of high quality nominations being received from across the Armed Forces Community and beyond.
“We’d like to thank our Sponsors and Partners, especially Redwood Technologies, who are a part of the Soldiering On journey. Without their ongoing support we wouldn’t have the coveted position as the largest Military Awards in the UK and look forward to their continued support as we prepare to honour the 2019 Finalists”.
