Leader in cloud communications solutions, Content Guru, will be sharing its healthcare Customer Engagement and Experience expertise at the 2019 Healthcare Excellence Through Technology (HETT) Show.
HETT, taking place on 1st – 2nd October 2019 at ExCel London, brings together more than 3,000 health tech and digital health leaders to solve the most pressing issues facing the UK health sector. Content Guru will be exhibiting at stand C28, showcasing how the multi-award-winning storm® platform provides patients and clinical advisors with a superior experience when handling Urgent Care enquiries.
Content Guru’s Deputy CEO and Head of Healthcare, Martin Taylor, will lead a case study session at 11.40am on 1st October about the company’s work with NHS 111 Healthy London Partnership, titled “Caring for the Capital: The technology that transforms patient outcomes for NHS 111 London”. Martin will discuss how information and communications technologies are transforming patient engagement and experience by delivering intelligent routing and streamlined interactions between clinical advisors, patients and healthcare information systems. The talk will also highlight how NHS 111 London takes proactive steps to prevent future issues by analysing trends.
Before NHS 111 London adopted storm, patients were facing lengthy waiting times in stressful situations because they were routed to any available Health Advisor, with no ability to track repeat callers or prioritise a patient with a developing illness or an existing care plan. Since it started working with Content Guru, NHS 111 London has seen up to a 50% reduction in the number of ambulances needing to be dispatched for complex patients with a care record. Independent evaluations have also found that 80% of care plan callers are satisfied with the improved service.
Martin Taylor, said: “Content Guru’s work with NHS 111 London is a brilliant example of utilising emerging innovations in AI and other technologies to provide the best experience for patients and clinical advisors. The NHS’s use of storm is literally saving lives, and we are looking forward to sharing our best practice at the show.”
