Content Guru Supports 999 Day to Honor Emergency Services Workers and Volunteers
Approximately 2 million people work and volunteer across the NHS and emergency services today, many of whom are volunteers, without whom the emergency services could not operate effectively. Shockingly, over 7,500 members of the UK emergency services have been killed in the line of duty in the last 200 years.
999 Day is a national day held on the 9th of September across the UK, and is an opportunity to show support for our selfless NHS and emergency services heroes. 999 Day has the support of HM The Queen, HRH The Prince of Wales, HRH The Duke of Cambridge, the Prime Minister and First Ministers of Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. 999 Day is also supported by the National Police Chiefs’ Council, the National Fire Chiefs’ Council, Association of Ambulance Chief Executives, the NHS, Maritime and Coastguard Agency and all Search and Rescue organizations across the UK.
Content Guru is proud to support 999 Day, as a provider of cutting-edge technology to organizations in the emergency services space. Content Guru’s innovative call recording product, storm® RECORDER™, recently became the first of its kind to be certified by the Ambulance Radio Program (ARP) for recording of the Frequentis LifeX ICCS.
