Content Guru Achieves Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award

Leading cloud technology provider, Content Guru, is proud to announce its achievement of the Gold Award in Britain’s Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme.

The Armed Forces Covenant offers a wide variety of support to ensure members of the armed forces, veterans, and their family members have the same access to government and commercial services and products as any other citizen. Enshrined in UK law, the covenant is a pledge that together we acknowledge and understand that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy and society they serve with their lives. The Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) was founded in 2014 to encourage employers to support defense and inspire others to do the same.

Content Guru recognizes that a supportive and fair employment environment is essential to enabling the work of each of UK’s Armed Forces. As such, it continues to improve opportunities for services reservists, leaders and their families, as well as Cadet Force volunteers. Content Guru provides paid time off for training; actively supports the Forces Career Transition Partnership (CTP); as well as sponsoring the Health and Rehabilitation Award for the Soldiering On Awards for four consecutive years. Achieving the highest badge of honor – the Gold Award – is a demonstration of this impressive commitment.

Content Guru was among just 140 organizations who received the prestigious award at a ceremony presented by the Minister for Defence Procurement, Jeremy Quin MP on November 17th at the Honourable Artillery Company.

Martin Taylor, Deputy CEO and Co-Founder of Content Guru, commented:

“The Armed Forces take great risk and make huge sacrifices to protect UK citizens and ensure that all trade routes remain safely open. Content Guru is well aware that without the Armed Forces defending the nation, a successful and thriving business environment is out of the question. To show our support for their important work, we take measures to ensure our reservist colleagues are able to train and deploy, while welcoming services personnel into the business, and supporting services organizations and charities in their work.”
