On September 27th, Content Guru will be exhibiting its award-winning multi-channel communications integration solution, storm® ASSIST™, at the 2017 UK Health Show. Global CMO Martin Taylor will deliver a speech at the event, describing how cloud-based communications services are driving improved patient outcomes and efficiencies for healthcare providers across the country.
storm ASSIST provides the platform for NHS England’s trail-blazing Patient Relationship Management (PRM) initiative. Integrating securely with long-term and end-of-life care systems, PRM provides important London-wide facilities to the capital’s healthcare system, spanning five 111 and Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) providers. Since its launch by Healthy London Partnership in 2015, PRM has continually evolved, through Agile programme management, to transform the delivery of 111 non-emergency and IUC services. In the process, PRM has won multiple major technology accolades, including 2016 UK IT, 2017 UK Cloud and 2017 IT Europa awards.
Most recently, storm ASSIST and PRM scooped the 2017 Computing Digital Technology Leaders Award for ‘Best Public Sector Digital Project’. As well as providing strategic commissioner-level facilities such as PRM, storm ASSIST also drives end-to-end patient engagement for 111, GP Out of Hours and IUC providers in other key English regions, as well as powering a number of international healthcare operators.
The conference and exhibition will be held at Olympia, London. The Show is the UK’s largest meeting of healthcare professionals and representatives of supporting industries, with organisers expecting over 4,000 delegates. Content Guru will showcase storm ASSIST as part of the Healthcare Efficiency through Technology (HETT) sector. Aside from technology, the show will host delegates from the Commissioning, Procurement, and Cyber Security sectors.
Martin Taylor will speak alongside representatives from NHS Digital, NHS England, and leading NHS Foundation Trusts. He will emphasise the importance of anticipating technological changes in the public sector through cloud architectures.
Looking forward to the event, Taylor comments: “storm is transforming how the NHS engages with its service users, supporting improved patient outcomes through a significant increase in first-call resolution. Unified, cloud-based, communications integration provides healthcare professionals with vital information in an environment where every second counts. At Content Guru and in the Redwood Technologies Group, we firmly believe in the importance of mutual understanding and collaboration between technology developers and healthcare professionals as vital to the future of our NHS. We’ll be showcasing how our communications platform and software applications are continuing to support this most valued of all public services and, most importantly, keep people healthy.”
