Content Guru, the leading cloud contact center and customer engagement provider, has hired a new Vice President of Sales in the US, as part of its ongoing drive to expand. Andrew Casson’s appointment is part of an initiative to develop Content Guru’s customer base in the US region, and to support the business as it scales rapidly and globally.
As the market for Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) continues to expand, despite the turbulent economy post COVID-19, Content Guru recognizes the importance of having a world-class sales team in the US. The business wanted to augment its existing San Jose presence with an additional team on the East Coast, where Andrew will be based. With over 20 years of experience in as a trusted advisor in the communications technology space, Andrew will seek to widen Content Guru’s customer base in the US and further grow their global presence.
Andrew said: “Over the past 15 years, I’ve acquired a wealth of experience in consulting for federal agency customers, as well as gaining expertise in Unified Communication (UC) solutions across multiple vendors. Content Guru is already established in the US and has worked with a number of important clients. I am looking forward to using my experience in this area to bring on new customers who would benefit from the extensive functionality of Content Guru’s offering.”
Martin Taylor, Deputy CEO and Co-Founder of Content Guru, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Andrew to the team, and are certain that his experience will stand us in good stead to take advantage of the growing market in the US. CCaaS and UC technology is becoming a global trend, made all the more essential for organizations due to COVID-19 and the rise of homeworking. In preparation for this uptick, we need to have high caliber teams across the globe, to ensure we continue to deliver best-in-class Customer Experience and Engagement solutions to our customers.”
