The Soldiering On Awards recognize and celebrate the incredible accomplishments made by remarkable individuals and charitable organizations who have gone above and beyond to serve their colleagues, peers and communities.<\/p>\n<p>The winner of the\u00a0\u2018Healthcare and Rehabilitation Award\u2019, proudly sponsored by Redwood Technologies Group, was Col Anthony Gauvain of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ptsdresolution.org\/\"><b>PTSD Resolution<\/b><\/a>. Col Gauvain, a former infantry officer who commanded the Cheshire Regiment, displayed outstanding commitment to the mental health of the wider forces community by re-training as a therapist upon leaving the Army and later setting up the PTSD Resolution organization. Since its inception in 2009, PTSD Resolution has provided support to more than 3,600 veterans, reservists, and their families. Col Gauvain was presented with the award on-stage by Redwood Technologies Group\u2019s Deputy CEO Martin Taylor.<\/p>\n<p>The awards evening, hosted by presenter and journalist Jeremy Vine, featured musical entertainment from soprano Christina Johnston, the Corps of Drums of the Royal Logistic Corps, saxophonist and former Royal Marine Ryan Truzzi-Franconi, Army Cadet Piper Harry Gordon and live band What The Funk, fronted by Army Reserves Captain Doctor Andie Mitchell-Johnson.<\/p>\n                    <\/div>\n                            <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n    \n    <\/section>\n\n\n\n\n\n    <section class=\"block-columns toast-block no-margin padding-both has-bg\" style=\"background-color:#ddf3fc;\"> \n\n        \n\n\n<div class=\"columns-area\">\n    <div class=\"container\">\n                                <div class=\"main-column-grid grid\" style=\"grid-template-columns:repeat(1, 1fr)\">\n                                    <div class=\"col \">\n                        <p>\u201cThe Soldering On Awards highlight the outstanding achievements of those who have served our country and it was inspirational to hear so many tales of courage and resilience at this year\u2019s ceremony,\u201d commented\u00a0<b>Martin Taylor, Deputy CEO at Redwood Technologies Group<\/b>. \u201cCongratulations to all those that were recognised at the event and to Col Anthony Gauvain for the incredible work of PTSD Resolution in helping diminish the catastrophic damage that trauma can cause to military personnel and their loved ones.
