Content Guru is proud to have been named a finalist in the IT Europa European IT and Software Excellence Awards 2015. IT Europa has been a pre-eminent provider of strategic business intelligence, news, database reports and analysis on the European IT marketplace, for more than 15 years.
The awards look for best practices in customer-facing solutions from IT and communications companies across Europe, with entries spread across 27 categories.
The winners will be announced at a gala awards dinner at the Lancaster London Hotel on 25th March. Last year the awards ceremony was attended by senior executives from 81 companies, representing 25 countries.
Content Guru has been shortlisted in the Independent Software Vendor (ISV) section of the awards, which focuses on the applications ISVs develop and deliver to their clients. Specifically, the company’s utilities proposition, storm® LOSS™ (Loss of Supply Service), is in contention for the Vertical Market Solution of the Year and also the Government/Utilities Solution of the Year categories.
This pair of nominations is the latest in a string of accolades for Content Guru’s LOSS product, which shields utility contact centres from the huge surges in demand that occur during service outages. LOSS delivers efficient outbound and inbound multi-channel communications, with secure links to personalised data, ensuring that utilities companies avoid substantial regulatory fines for poor customer service.
Last year LOSS was named the “Best Enterprise Vertical Market Solution” at the Comms National Awards in addition to achieving second place for “Cloud Provider Innovation of the Year” at the 2014 UK IT Awards. LOSS has also garnered praise from across the Atlantic, with Content Guru listed in US magazine CIO Review’s Top 50 Most Promising Utilities Technology Solution Providers of 2014.
Sean Taylor, Content Guru Managing Director, commented: “We are delighted to be finalists in two categories in the prestigious IT Europa Awards. As a world leader in cloud contact centre solutions it’s fantastic to receive further recognition from one of the foremost authorities on European IT. It’s great to see storm LOSS again being nominated for major awards while it continues to deliver powerful, nationally-important, communications capabilities to utilities providers across Europe.”
