On Thursday 12th June, Content Guru sponsored two categories at the European Call Centre and Customer Service Awards 2014. Hosted annually, the ceremony was held this year in the Victorian splendour of Old Billingsgate, on the banks of the River Thames, and recognised some of the best and brightest individuals and organisations from across the contact centre and customer service sector.
Content Guru sponsored both the ‘Small Contact Centre of the Year’ and the ‘Medium Contact Centre of the Year’ categories, with Sean Taylor, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Content Guru, judging the latter. Previous winners of these categories have included Amicus Horizon, a housing solutions provider, and AXA Insurance, one of the world’s largest and oldest insurance providers.
This year, the ‘Small Contact Centre of the Year’ award was won by Wakefield and District Housing, whilst the ‘Medium Contact Centre of the Year’ category was won by Experian, a global information services provider. Judges cited both organisations’ understanding of their customers, enjoyable work environment, and forward-thinking use of technology among the main reasons for their success.

Sean Taylor commented: ‘We are pleased to have been given the opportunity to support the Contact Centre community through our involvement in this year’s European Call Centre and Customer Service Awards. Content Guru has many years of experience providing cloud contact centre solutions to this sector, so we understand the challenges involved in delivering a truly consistent and high-quality customer experience. We had a fun night and it was great to see how delighted the winners were with their achievements. You might not want to introduce Kevin Bridges to Granny though.’
