Content Guru is looking for a dynamic, methodical and motivated Telemarketing Executive to join the Telemarketing team in the company’s UK headquarters in Bracknell UK. The successful candidate should have an engaging telephone manner and strong organisational skills and will be required to drive a wide range of campaigns through a range of telemarketing activities.

Telemarketing is at the frontline of Content Guru’s operations, tasked with creating new business opportunities to support the company’s ambitious growth strategies. As a Telemarketing Executive, the role holder will be responsible for working to help this rapidly growing business reach its UK growth targets, through creating opportunities with new and existing contacts across a variety of sectors, delivering leads to the Sales team and helping to co-ordinate Marketing events and campaigns.

The right candidate for the Telemarketing role must be proficient in both verbal and written communications as he or she will be responsible for upholding these standards across all engagements, and must be flexible in adhering to brand guidelines across all messaging to support and promote the company is it expands both within the UK and globally.

The role holder must develop a solid understanding of Content Guru’s products and services, in order to act as a representative of the company and represent its interests at all times. The candidate must communicate effectively and courteously with all contacts and effectively work within a team towards agreed propositions and goals aimed at specific industry sectors.

The Telemarketing Executive must also be able to diligently manage a variety of data and help to build a database that will be critical in the continued development of the company going forward. This role reports to both the Marketing team and the Business Development Director as appropriate.

Main Responsibilities

  • Generate new opportunities by making B2B telephone calls to prospective clients.
  • Be involved in booking new meetings, arranging appointment schedules, generating leads, cleaning data and undertaking market research.
  • Showcase diligent data management abilities, including ensuring the CRM is up to date at all times, with details of client profile, contacts, opportunities and activities.
  • Manage relationships with prospective clients.
  • Work closely with Sales to ensure lead opportunities are developed effectively.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and of competitors’ offerings.
  • Assist in the management of day-to-day activities of projects and track progress.
  • Be involved in conducting multichannel campaigns, events and general marketing prospects.
  • Assist the Sales team in achieving or exceeding agreed sales targets, putting in place suitable action plans to ensure success.
  • Contribute to regular strategic meetings to ensure campaigns are continually improved.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the company’s products and services to provide context for discussions with a variety of contacts across a range of seniority levels.

Experience and Skills

  • Eager for knowledge and keen to assimilate Content Guru products and services.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including solid presentation skills.

  • Role model and mentor to less experienced team members. Minimum of a years’ experience in a telesales, telemarketing or tele-research role within the communications industry.
